The Christmas Holiday at my Grandparents. Multigenerational Italian-American magic!
2020: I was a husband, a father to an expanding family, a full time business student at Columbia, courting and securing investment in Genesis Research, working as a PE backed CEO, driving hyper-growth stats while navigating peak COVID and its impact on everything. If I could get through that I could get through anything!
In 2004, My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and given 6 months to live. It gave me perspective on life, mortality, resilience and inspired me to get into healthcare. She was in remission 5 months after diagnosis, and we just celebrated her 20-year cancer free anniversary.
“Aggressive Humility”. It sounds paradoxical but this skill allows me to be aggressive in my aims, efforts, disciplines, actions, and responsibilities….and humble in my patience, perspectives, possibilities, learnings, and growth.
Aggressive is not arrogant. Humble is not passive.
My family. And always prioritizing them regardless of what else was going on in life.
Frank A. Corvino, a scientist, entrepreneur, and executive, has dedicated the better part of two decades to being an industry leader, changing the way pharmaceutical and biotech companies conduct research for drug development and commercialization.
From professor to CEO, Frank co-founded Genesis Research in 2009 and focused on developing an organization that was innovative in its delivery, client-centric, fun to work at, and fun to work with. He built a results-oriented corporate culture through a leadership style that promotes authenticity, diversity of thought, as well as personal growth and fulfillment. A quantitative scientist by training, with numerous publications in mathematics, physics, statistics, and healthcare, Frank has advanced the way epidemiology, health outcomes, medical affairs, and market access leverage real-world evidence (RWE) and stakeholder insights for decision-making.
Now, as a Managing Partner at Rallyday, Frank leverages his entrepreneurial journey and five years as a private equity-backed CEO to connect with leaders on a level that most private equity executives can’t. He empowers leaders to go even bigger, create the most value for the most people, and share the experience of a lifetime. Being an entrepreneur can often be a lonely, difficult path; however, it doesn’t have to be. Frank has a calling to support founders as they build the company of their dreams.
Frank has a PhD in theoretical physics from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a member of numerous professional societies including ACHE, ISPOR, and YPO. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Genesis Research, sits on the Board of Advisors for Stevens Business School, and mentors numerous emerging founders from the New York metro area. Outside of working hours, Frank can usually be found with his wife and three children. He also enjoys hobbies that keep him out of his comfort zone, like hot yoga, jiu-jitsu, sailing, and snowboarding.
