This final Rallyday will be a time to reflect on the growth that you and your company have achieved over the past six months. We will learn about the dimensions of what we should be paying attention to and what actions we should be taking to be accountable to our aligned vision. We will also learn the E+R=O framework to help you manage change and adversity in a positive manner.
The last Rallyday session will culminate in establishing metrics based on profitability, organizational health and key initiatives. You will learn how to activate the E+R=O framework and other Rallyday models of behavior leadership across your company. Together we will establish your own Rallycadence to further accelerate your vision and introduce Monthly Rallycalls to help you maintain velocity. We will end with a discussion about what “aggressive humility” looks, sounds and feels like, a final Dinner with Purpose; and a celebratory Rally Cry.
The goal of Rallyday 5 is simple: establish our Wildly Important Goals and align around what you need in order to be successful. We will encourage you to find where do you need support in your role and where can you give support to others. This Rallyday will discover the resources required to fuel your Wildly Important Goals and pinpoint any obstacles impeding your company’s success.
After discussing findings from the Fab/Five Mode and the importance of the “do not do” list, you will establish your six month goals and the type of support you need in order to achieve them: key hires, tools, temporary support, capital, interdepartmental support, and much more. You’ll also consider the more significant work needed to sustain customer engagement, service delivery, culture, talent, strategy, process and/or structural support for your company. The cadence of our activities may shift as we revisit what actions sustain or impede your progress within the RAP as well.
Similar to Rallyday 1, Rallyday 4 is a big step that will require two days to complete. This session will focus on gaining clarity on our strategy and how we as a team can execute the strategy at elite levels of performance. We will focus heavily on defining those distinctions or critical success factors within the Five Driver model that will be transformational and create the most value. We will also discuss your company’s purpose, its unique way of delivering it and the impact you seek to have on the marketplace. If Rallyday 1 was the beginning of developing trust, Rallyday 4 is the beginning of delivering results
On Day 1, we will revisit our progress within the RAP and provide new context for your results from the LeadNow Workshop. After spending half a day focusing on Value Creation 101 and an Industry Deep Dive, we will host an investment bank or other industry expert to share their wisdom with us about the competitive and market environment, what distinctions are valued by the market and advice about our strategy and priorities. This will be a highly interactive session to really identify where our ‘endzone’ is and how to get there safely and quickly. We will also discuss organic growth versus acquisitions and how to build value through multiple expansions.
Day 2 brings an exploration of your company’s “mission statement” to finds its purpose. We’ll introduce Wildly Important Goal setting using the Fab/Five Model: a prioritization tool that focuses on five hard but impactful initiatives, plus five easy and impactful initiatives that your company can pursue to enact transformational growth.
Rallyday 3 is all about getting ready to put your culture to work. It will be a day to connect culture to the Five Drivers of the business and prepare to move into focusing more on execution in the second half of the program.
This Rallyday will deliver a completed Culture Playbook and prepare the team to put it into action. You will strategize cultural activation tactics, including communication plans and rollout to the broader team. You will also report the results of the Five Driver Model Assessment and learn how to integrate its lessons into your playbook. Together we will articulate our imagined futures for our companies, our families and ourselves
Culture unlocks the power from within the heart of an organization. Foundational culture inspires and directs aligned individual contribution and discretionary effort.
Inspired people find better ways. Leaders turn ideas into a strategy and the team mobilizes the organization into action through process and structure. All in an effort to deliver an amazing customer experience and business results.
It begins with the people. And, properly executed, it ends with the people celebrating the joy of expression and potential turning into reality.
The human spirit thrives together. Let’s rally.
During this phase, we will learn and embrace the strengths of each member of the team. You will study the Elite Mindset and its challenges and opportunities, the Performance Pathway and the physics of leadership: the study of how leaders build a culture that drives behaviors to generate results at an organizational level. Outputs of this session include greater awareness of each other’s leadership strengths, learning more about functional trust, and evaluating your company’s current state using the Five Driver Model.
Participating in a LeadNow Framework Workshop will teach you how to harness the power of trust. We’ll dig into questions of uncertainty by voicing our confidence and doubts during the Character Blueprint, a session in which each team member voices their personal beliefs and the behaviors and results they seek to achieve. At the end of these two days, we will reflect on how you were able to see yourself, your team, and your company through a different lens.
These two days will jumpstart the beginning of our great adventure. During this Pre-Rally, we will discuss the RAP and tailor it to your business and goals for the year. We will also co-create an intermediate plan to keep moving our partnership forward while we build its foundation during these first six months
You will learn where your company is strongest in the context of the Five Driver Model. We will discuss how trust and results are currently cultivated in your company and how that may shape our work together. These conversations will help us identify a group of attainable initiatives, projects, or acquisitions that we should pursue in the short term. Together we will establish a cadence for communication, decision making, and metrics that will keep us in-tune with the business in the first six months of our investment so that we can get to know each other on a personal and professional level.
