Nancy Catarisano, CEO

Nancy Catarisano is a visionary leader and one of the few forward-thinkers in the accounting industry. Her vision and efforts have consistently positioned the firm ahead of industry trends. From launching an outsourced accounting services group decades before it became standard practice to implementing a continuous strategic planning process early in her tenure and implementing a people-first strategy before the industry even considered thinking that way, Nancy has shaped Insero into a firm known as one of the best places to work in the nation with a focus on innovation and adaptability. Believing that true transformation comes from within, she champions an inclusive leadership approach. For example, she gives full autonomy to the firm’s innovation committee, which is comprised of non-management team members, to foster creativity and fresh ideas. Under her leadership, Insero has expanded its service offerings, grown to over 150 employees, and repeatedly earned recognition as one of Accounting Today’s Best Firms to Work For. Nancy’s leadership philosophy is rooted in empowerment, and she is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of leaders, ensuring Insero remains on the cutting edge of the accounting profession. “Evolution is led by partners, but revolution is led by our team members,” she says—and with the industry undergoing a revolution, she’s determined to keep Insero ahead of the curve.
